Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our recruitment function and oversee the full hiring lifecycle. This role is responsible for managing internal and offshore recruiters, developing strong candidate pipelines, ensuring compliance with nursing licensure and credentialing standards, and maintaining positive client relationships. The HR Manager will partner closely with leadership and account managers to ensure NurseAmerica consistently delivers high-quality, qualified nurses to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Talent Pipeline
- Lead and manage a team of recruiters to meet hiring targets.
Compliance & Credentialing
- Ensure all nurse candidates meet licensure, education, and credentialing requirements (state, federal, Joint Commission, client-specific).
- Oversee employment authorization and background verification processes in collaboration with compliance staff.
- Maintain strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.
Client & Candidate Relationship Management
- Collaborate with clients to understand workforce needs and ensure qualified submissions.
- Serve as an escalation point for client/recruiter challenges.
- Ensure positive candidate experiences from application through onboarding.
Team Leadership & Operations
- Provide training, mentorship, and performance management for recruiters.
- Develop KPIs and monitor recruiter performance (submittals, interviews, hires, fill ratios).
- Oversee offshore recruitment teams, ensuring productivity and alignment with NurseAmerica standards.
- Partner with leadership to optimize recruitment technology, ATS, and sourcing strategies.
HR & Compliance Oversight
- Support HR functions including onboarding, documentation, and compliance checks.
- Work with leadership to continuously improve processes and ensure end-to-end hiring excellence.
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in recruitment practices.
Qualifications
- Education in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive recruitment/HR experience, ideally in healthcare staffing or healthcare workforce solutions.
- Proven success managing recruiters and achieving high-volume hiring goals.
- Strong knowledge of nurse licensure, credentialing, and regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, CMS, state boards).
- Experience managing offshore recruitment teams preferred.
- Skilled in ATS/CRM systems, sourcing platforms, and recruitment automation tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
