Job Summary
The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager is responsible for end-to-end supply chain excellence, including formal demand planning, production scheduling, purchasing, order-to-cash execution, logistics coordination, and warehouse operations. This role oversees inbound and outbound shipments of product, warehouse management, and supervision of a small operations staff responsible for inspection, packaging, and shipping activities.
The role works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to develop and maintain structured demand planning processes that translate internal program requirements, customer forecasts, into executable supply, capacity, and logistics plans.
As Noxilizer expands into additional services, this role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling the end-to-end supply chain, logistics, and warehouse processes required to support customer-owned product, validated sterilization flows, and repeatable commercial execution.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting & Leadership
- Reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.
- Manages and develops a small logistics and warehouse staff responsible for inbound inspection, inventory handling, packaging, and outbound shipping.
- Oversees temporary labor needs and manages labor resources to meet production, sterilization, and shipment demands.
Demand Planning & S&OP
- Develops and owns a formal demand planning process incorporating:
- Customer forecasts for consumables, spare parts, and contract sterilization volumes
- Inputs from Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations
- New customer onboarding and program ramp schedules
- Establishes and leads Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or equivalent cross-functional planning cadence to align demand, capacity, materials, and logistics.
- Converts demand plans into master production schedules, material requirements, and logistics execution plans.
- Defines planning assumptions, lead times, safety stock strategies, and capacity constraints.
Cross-Functional Planning & Program Support
- Partners with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to:
- Align commercial demand with internal supply capabilities
- Support new product introductions, customer validations, and contract sterilization program launches
- Ensure material availability, labor planning, and logistics readiness for customer programs
- Serves as the primary supply chain interface for contract sterilization customers during onboarding and ongoing operations.
Supply Chain & Execution
- Manages scheduling and replenishment activities for:
- Biological Indicator business
- Capital equipment spare parts
- Contract sterilization programs
- Development and lab studies requiring parts and consumables
- Responsible for purchasing raw materials, scheduling production and sterilization capacity, and coordinating finished goods availability.
- Manages replenishment orders for spare parts required by customers operating onsite Noxilizer equipment.
- Consolidates planning tools into a comprehensive system providing delivery, attainment, inventory, and service-level metrics.
Logistics & Warehouse Operations
- Designs and implements end-to-end logistics workflows for contract sterilization, including:
- Inbound receipt, inspection, and documentation of customer-owned product
- Material segregation, traceability, and inventory control
- Packaging, labeling, and release coordination of sterilized product
- Outbound shipment to customers or downstream processors
- Ensures compliance with SOPs, quality requirements, and regulatory expectations related to sterilized and customer-owned product.
- Coordinates with freight carriers, couriers, and third-party logistics providers as required.
- Maintains accurate inventory records and supports audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
Order-to-Cash & Customer Interface
- Partners with the Vice President of Operations to oversee the order-to-cash process and ensure schedule attainment against monthly business metrics.
- Interfaces directly with customers on order requirements, forecasts, lead times, and delivery commitments.
- Ensures production and sterilization schedules align with customer ship dates and contractual requirements.
Purchasing, Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Manages creation, issuance, tracking, and reconciliation of purchase orders.
- Establishes scalable planning, scheduling, and logistics systems to support business growth.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives across demand planning, supply chain execution, logistics, and warehouse operations.
Compliance & Training
- Trains staff in applicable standard operating procedures, protocols, standards, and processes.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and applicable Federal, State, and local Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Experience in demand planning, S&OP, supply chain execution, logistics, and warehouse operations preferred.
- Prior experience supporting manufacturing or sterilization environments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build new operational processes from early-stage through scale.
- Experience working cross-functionally in regulated environments (medical device, pharma, biotech) preferred.
- Strong Excel and planning tool proficiency required.
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
