Acupuncturist – Established, High-Volume Practice (Alexandria, VA)

We are seeking a motivated, patient-centered acupuncturist to join a well-established, steadily growing practice in Alexandria, VA. Our clinic offers a professional, spa-like environment, a strong community reputation, and consistent patient flow.
We are a team of three experienced practitioners who support one another with coverage when needed (vacation, illness, etc.). We are looking for someone who is reliable, communicative, and works well within a collaborative environment.
This position is ideal for a practitioner who is early in their career, eager to grow, and ready to build a strong, loyal patient base within an established system.
Schedule:
- Saturdays are required (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Weekday hours: Monday and Wednesday /evenings preferred
- Additional hours available as your schedule grows
Compensation
- Employed position
- 50/50 commission-based
- Strong earning potential for practitioners who are motivated and engaged in patient care and retention

Mentorship & Growth Opportunity:
- Direct exposure to fertility and IVF support cases
- Guidance on treatment planning, patient retention, and real-world clinical flow
- Insight into how to build and sustain a successful acupuncture practice
Important: While we provide patient flow, success in this role depends on your ability to build rapport, retain patients, and take ownership of growing your schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide acupuncture treatments for a variety of conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients on care, including herbs and adjunct therapies
- Build and maintain patient relationships to support retention
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms
- Support smooth clinic flow (room turnover, laundry, etc.)
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Acupuncture or Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Licensed in Virginia
- NCCAOM certified
- In-network with BCBS, Aetna, or UnitedHealthcare is a plus (or willingness to become credentialed)
