Network Automation Engineer

Northwest Partners is engaged in a strategic initiative with a well-established technology organization and seeks an experienced Ansible Automation Engineer to support the automation of network operations and workflow optimization across an enterprise environment. This role focuses on building scalable automation solutions to improve provisioning, compliance, and operational efficiency across complex network infrastructure.

Hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite in McLean, Virginia.

What You Will Do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation workflows using Ansible Automation Platform
• Build reusable playbooks to automate network provisioning, configuration, and compliance tasks
• Support automation across multi-vendor network environments and operational tooling
• Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize infrastructure-as-code practices
• Improve reliability and efficiency of network operations through automation and orchestration
• Support integration of network inventory and source-of-truth systems with automation workflows

What You Will Bring

• Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform and enterprise automation workflows
• Proven experience developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks at scale
• Experience automating network operations in complex enterprise environments
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and automation best practices
• Familiarity with network source-of-truth or inventory management platforms
• Ability to support configuration, provisioning, and compliance automation use cases across networks
