Principal/Sr. Principal Software Engineer

Support team in completing necessary software on schedule Collaborate with software, cyber, and test engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of software systems Principal Software Engineer: 5 Years with Bachelor's in STEM field of study, 3 Years with Masters, a PhD or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Sr. Principal Software Engineer: 8 Years with Bachelor's in STEM field of study, 6 Years with Masters, 4 Years with PhD or 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Must be able and willing to obtain and maintain U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance, but not required to start. Ability to travel on-site to locations in Bellevue, NE. Proven experience with Python and HTML/CSS/JavaScript Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Software Security tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube and Git Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a small technical team Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results Experience building Electron based desktop applications. Experience with Environmental Sciences, the Weather domain or DoD operations. Experience with Django web framework and CesiumJS 3D mapping library. Experience with development targeted at Windows desktop deployment. Experience working in an Agile software development environment. Experience with Docker or other container runtimes. Demonstrated use of collaboration tool suites (Atlassian). Active Security Certification (Security+, CSSLP, CISSP). Ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret security clearance.
