Job Description
Northernsky Properties is looking for an SEO Specialist with 2+ years of experience to drive organic visibility, search rankings, and qualified traffic for our real estate brand across search engines, maps, and AI-powered discovery platforms.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mangaluru, Karnataka. You will work closely with the marketing team to build and execute SEO strategies that generate consistent inbound leads for our residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute on-page SEO strategies meta tags, heading structures, keyword mapping, internal linking, and page speed optimisation
- Build and manage off-page SEO campaigns link building, digital PR, directory submissions, and domain authority growth
- Develop and optimise content SEO frameworks keyword research, content briefs, blog strategy, and landing page optimisation for real estate search intent
- Manage and optimise Google My Business (GMB) profiles for maximum local search visibility across project locations
- Implement and track GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) strategies to ensure brand presence in AI-generated search results
- Develop AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) content structured data, FAQs, and schema markup to capture featured snippets and voice search results
- Conduct regular SEO audits using Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Moz Pro identifying and resolving technical issues, crawl errors, and ranking drops
- Track, analyse, and report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, CTR, and lead attribution using SEO tools and Google Analytics
- Collaborate with content, design, and paid media teams to align SEO with broader digital marketing goals
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or a local services industry
- Proficiency in Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Moz Pro for auditing, keyword research, and competitive analysis
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices
- Experience with Google My Business optimisation and local SEO strategies
- Working knowledge of AEO and GEO structuring content for AI search engines and answer-based discovery
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and tag management tools
- Basic understanding of HTML and CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable SEO strategies
- Excellent written communication skills for content briefs and SEO copywriting direction
