Join our Pharmacy Services department as a Registered Pharmacy Technician. Work Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, and showcase your skills in medication management.
We are looking for a Pharmacy Technician who can bring their knowledge to our team. This role involves processing medication orders, verifying prescriptions, and compounding as necessary. You will also ensure accuracy in the pharmacy information systems while maintaining stock levels and performing clerical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow competency guidelines and pharmacy practice standards
- Process medication orders that were reviewed by pharmacists
- Validate prescriptions for authenticity and completeness
- Compound and prepare medications as per instructions
- Conduct final checks on dispensed prescriptions to ensure accuracy
Requirements
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician is mandatory
- Understanding of pharmacy regulations and standards
- Detail-oriented approach to medication handling
- Competency in managing stock levels and clerical responsibilities
- Familiarity with pharmacy information systems preferred
