Purchasing & SCM Manager

You will be responsible for leading Nordsons Purchasing, Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Warehouse activities and teams primarily in South Asia, with involvement in Middle East & Africa for select businesses. Your key functions will include:

• Identifying and sustaining vendors to produce components in alignment with Nordson design and quality standards.
• Procuring standard components following Nordson's purchasing standards.
• Managing Nordsons purchasing process, including capital equipment.
• Negotiating, releasing, and approving Purchase Orders.
• Ensuring Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) standards are consistently met.
• Ensuring the efficient utilization of resources to control costs.
• Supervising a team of engineers and associates from purchasing, SCM, and Warehouse.
• Implementing a continuous improvement program, leveraging appropriate software tools.
• Overseeing the acquisition and delivery of raw materials, components, or parts essential for the end product. This includes acquiring goods at the right time, quantity, quality, and cost, covering buying/planning, components engineering, commodities, supplier diversity, strategic sourcing, and vendor relations.
