Salary:

NP35 (CAD52.31 - CAD64.92 per hour) plus a bi-weekly pensionable Market Adjustment up to a maximum of $415.35 (currently approved until Feb 28, 2027 with possibility of extension)

The following Incentives may be applicable and can be combined:

1. Signing bonus up to $10,000 (up to $14,000 if facility is located off the TCH – Rural Sites)

2. Come Home Incentive up to $60,000

3. Health Professional Bursary (student) up to $10,000

NL Health Services is currently looking for a Nurse Practitioner to provide Primary Care clinical coverage in Port aux Basques/Doyles. The Nurse Practitioner is part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for Primary Health Care services based on the needs of the population in the Port aux Basques/Doyles Neighborhood. This can include the provision of services in a variety of settings and methods including in person visits, virtual care, and visits in patients’ homes including within personal care homes. Mileage and appropriate per diems will be paid in accordance with the RNUNL Collective agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS: Current registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador College of Nurses and current Nurse Practitioner License are required. The incumbent must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essential. Experience working independently with limited supervision and willingness to travel are also required.

This is a solo clinical leadership position with a high degree of autonomy.
