Job Summary

A Ward Nurse provides high-quality nursing care to admitted patients, monitors their condition, administers medications, and supports recovery. They work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients’ health conditions.
• Record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration).
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist doctors during examinations and medical procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Provide wound care, injections, IV therapy, and catheter care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and aftercare.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies.
• Maintain hygiene, infection control, and safety standards.
• Supervise and guide junior nursing staff or nursing assistants.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid nursing license/registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred).
• Previous ward or hospital experience (1–2 years preferred).
