Weekend Server

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, hospitality, and customer engagement within a fast-paced environment.

Must have own transportation. Public transportation not available

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Address guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and support

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience
• Strong communication skills for interacting with guests and team members
• Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus but not required

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00 per hour
