Job Description
The Civil Engineer – Water Management is responsible for planning, execution, maintenance, and monitoring of water management systems including drainage, sewage, rainwater harvesting, STP, WTP, and water supply systems across the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily water consumption and optimize water usage
- Manage water supply systems including pumps, pipelines, valves, and tanks
- Coordinate with STP/WTP operators for smooth operations
- Monitor treated water quality and reuse applications
- Supervise drainage, sewage, and rainwater harvesting systems
- Handle maintenance of underground & overhead water tanks
- Ensure proper functioning of borewells and water distribution network
- Maintain records of water consumption, tanker usage, and recycling
- Coordinate with vendors for repair and preventive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Requirements
- BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 1–2 years experience in water management / facility maintenance
- Knowledge of STP, WTP, drainage & water distribution systems
- Basic understanding of pumps, pipelines & valves
- Good communication skills
- Ready to work in Electronic City
