We are looking for driven, high energy individuals to join our team as Business Development Representative. This is a full time in office role and your entry point into a fast paced high income industry where your work directly impacts company revenue. If you are competitive, disciplined, and ready to be on the phone all day this is where you start.
As the first point of contact in our sales process you will connect with business owners across Canada and the United States, identify qualified opportunities, and feed deals to our closing team. High performers do not stay in this role long. There is a clear and proven path to becoming a closer and significantly increasing your income.
Who We Are
Nexus Finance is a Montreal based business financing firm helping companies across Canada and the United States access working capital to grow. We operate from a brand new office in Ville Saint-Laurent and work in a high performance environment where execution and results are everything.

What You Will Be Doing
- Make high volume outbound and inbound calls to business owners across Canada every day
- Introduce our financing solutions and generate genuine interest
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria
- Collect required documentation including bank statements and application information
- Pass qualified opportunities to our closing team
- Follow up with prospects and keep deals moving forward in our CRM
- Update contact records with accurate notes and activity after every call
- Compete on our live leaderboard and earn weekly prizes through consistent performance
What You Need to Succeed
- Strong English communication skills, French is a strong asset
- Comfortable and confident spending the full day on the phone
- High energy, competitive, and goal oriented mindset
- Ability to handle rejection and stay consistent call after call
- Coachable and willing to follow a structured script and process
- Sales, call center, payment processing, or customer service experience is a strong asset
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must be fully available Monday to Friday in office at our Ville Saint-Laurent location
