Job Description

As an Assistant Chemist at NextWave Technology in Puducherry, you will play a crucial role in supporting chemical analysis, quality control, and research initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine chemical testing, analysis, and documentation of raw materials and finished products.
  • Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment such as HPLC, GC, Spectrophotometers, and pH meters.
  • Preparing chemical solutions, reagents, and samples for testing following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Assisting senior chemists in research projects, process optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards (ISO/GLP).
  • Maintaining accurate records of experimental data and preparing technical reports.

To qualify for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of chemical properties, laboratory safety, and analytical techniques.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation.
