About the Company

New Zealand Fresh & Natural India Private Limited is preparing to introduce an innovative travel and hospitality platform called EthnicBNB.

EthnicBNB is designed to connect travelers with authentic homes, local traditions, and meaningful cultural experiences. The platform enables a wide range of hosts — including homestays, PG owners, boutique hotels, and luxury villas — to list their properties while giving travelers unique and comfortable stay options.

As we build this platform from the ground up, we are creating a strong technical foundation that prioritizes reliability, security, and scalability.

Position Overview

We are seeking a DevOps & Cloud Platform Engineer who will manage and strengthen the platform’s cloud infrastructure. The role involves maintaining deployment pipelines, ensuring infrastructure security, monitoring system performance, and supporting the platform as it scales.

This position plays an important role in maintaining a stable and secure technical environment for the EthnicBNB platform.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Platform Management

• Maintain and optimize infrastructure on AWS and DigitalOcean
• Configure and manage Cloudflare services for DNS, CDN performance, and platform protection
• Ensure infrastructure is scalable and capable of handling increasing traffic

Deployment & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Manage automated deployment processes for application updates
• Coordinate with developers to support reliable and smooth software releases

Infrastructure Security

• Maintain secure server access through SSH and authentication controls
• Configure firewalls, SSL certificates, and protection against malicious traffic
• Implement and maintain strong security standards across the infrastructure

Monitoring & Stability

• Monitor application health and system performance using tools such as Sentry
• Ensure system availability through continuous monitoring and proactive maintenance
• Implement logging and alerting systems to quickly detect and resolve issues

Data Protection & Recovery

• Maintain system backups and verify data integrity
• Develop disaster recovery procedures to protect system availability
• Optimize system reliability while managing infrastructure costs

Technical Collaboration

• Work closely with backend and frontend teams to support deployments
• Assist in improving platform performance and scaling strategies
• Provide support during production incidents when required

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or DigitalOcean cloud environments
• Knowledge of Cloudflare services including DNS configuration, CDN, and security features
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
• Strong understanding of Linux systems, SSH access, and networking concepts
• Knowledge of infrastructure security practices including firewalls and encryption
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Sentry
• Understanding of scalable infrastructure and high-availability systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in startup or rapidly growing technology environments
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
• Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Education Requirements

• B.Tech / BE in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• MCA or equivalent postgraduate qualification may also be considered
• Certifications in Cloud, DevOps, Linux, or Cybersecurity (AWS, DevOps, etc.) will be beneficial
• Skilled self-taught professionals with relevant experience are also welcome to apply

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
