Starting Point - Opioid Treatment Program - Brooklyn Park, MD 21401

Starting Point is seeking a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse for Medication Dispensing 5:30am-11:00am. 3-4 days per week.

The applicant must be licensed by the Maryland Board of Nursing.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Prepares and administers medication to Program clients, maintaining essential medication inventory records and logs in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Observes and appropriately records/reports changes in a client's condition.
• Provides physical addictions-related consultations to clients on an as-needed basis, recording such consultations in the client's record.
• Initiates and maintains interprogram arrangements consistent with the Program Protocol pertaining to the continuity of client care and treatment.
• Coordinates medical treatment by providing medical information, on behalf of the clients, to other services; i.e., hospitals, inpatient facilities, etc.
• Participates in professional development activities to maintain state-of-the-art knowledge and skills relevant to nursing practice in a drug rehabilitation program.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
