Chief Fire Fighting Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Chief Fire Fighting Officer to lead and manage all fire safety, fire prevention, emergency response, and life safety operations across the campus. The candidate shall ensure compliance with statutory fire safety regulations and oversee the maintenance of all fire protection systems and emergency preparedness activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee the operation and maintenance of all fire fighting systems, fire alarms, hydrants, sprinklers, extinguishers, and emergency equipment.

· Conduct regular inspections and fire safety audits across campus buildings, hostels, laboratories, auditoriums, kitchens, and utility areas.

· Ensure compliance with statutory fire safety norms and coordinate with Fire Department authorities for inspections and approvals.

· Develop and implement fire safety policies, emergency response procedures, and evacuation plans.

· Lead emergency response operations during fire incidents and other emergencies.

· Conduct fire drills, evacuation mock drills, and fire safety awareness programs for staff and students.

· Maintain records related to inspections, equipment servicing, mock drills, incidents, and compliance documentation.

· Supervise fire fighting staff and coordinate with security, housekeeping, electrical, civil, and maintenance teams on safety matters.

· Identify fire hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures.

Pay: From ₹50,000.00 per month
