Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Technical Recruiter to support hiring efforts aligned with federal contract vehicles, including T4NG2. This role will focus on building talent pipelines, supporting proposal efforts, reducing reliance on external staffing agencies, and providing light HR administrative support to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process. This is a temporary position.

- This is a hybrid role, 2 days onsite per week in McLean, VA.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of technical recruiting experience (preferably in government contracting)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
- Experience recruiting for IT roles (cloud, cyber, software, infrastructure)
- Demonstrated experience sourcing, recruiting, and hiring cleared professionals with active security clearances across various clearance levels.
- Familiarity with proposal recruiting and contingent hiring
- Strong sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting VA or federal civilian contracts
- Knowledge of cleared recruiting and compliance requirements
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
- Exposure to onboarding processes and HR compliance documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition:
- Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for recurring and upcoming roles (e.g., cloud engineers, cybersecurity, DevSecOps, program managers)
- Support proposal staffing by identifying and engaging candidates ahead of contract awards
- Partner with hiring managers and capture teams to prioritize high-probability opportunities
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and networking
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles
- Reduce agency usage by filling roles internally whenever possible
- Maintain awareness of cleared and VA-experienced talent pools
Coordination & Process Management:
- Coordinate interviews and ensure a streamlined, timely hiring process
- Track candidate pipelines and maintain accurate data in the ATS
- Assist with scheduling, interview logistics, and candidate communications
- Support offer process coordination, including drafting letters and tracking approvals
HR Administrative Support:
- Assist with onboarding coordination, including pre-employment documentation and new hire readiness
- Maintain and update employee and candidate records in HRIS/ATS systems (e.g., LMS, or similar)
- Support compliance-related activities such as I-9 documentation, background checks, and file management
- Help prepare basic HR reports (e.g., hiring metrics, pipeline status, onboarding tracking)
- Provide general administrative support to HR initiatives as needed (e.g., employee communications, documentation updates)
