The ideal candidate has expertise in multi-entity and intercompany accounting, foreign currency, and global statutory compliance, along with strong NetSuite and Excel skills. Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours are strongly preferred to support collaboration with global and U.S. teams. What You'll Do International & Cross-Functional Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Manage accounting activities for international entities in Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, and India, ensuring compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Review monthly bookkeeping packages for foreign subsidiaries in accordance with local GAAP (including IFRS and Indian GAAP) and assist with conversion to US GAAP where applicable.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Coordinate and support country-specific tax filings, including VAT/GST/HST (Canada), VAT (UK and Germany), and GST/TDS (India), ensuring timely and accurate compliance.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Monitor and account for foreign currency transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Partner with external advisors and local auditors to support statutory audits and filings.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ensure intercompany transactions are properly recorded, reconciled, and eliminated, including cross-border invoicing and transfer pricing considerations.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Maintain compliance with local payroll, pension, and statutory accrual requirements in each jurisdiction, including PF, ESI, and other statutory obligations in India.</li> </ul> U.S. Accounting Support: <ul> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Provide backup support for U.S. accounting functions, including general ledger activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations, ensuring continuity during peak periods or team absences.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Assist with U.S. month-end close processes and reporting requirements as needed.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Support U.S. compliance activities, including sales and use tax, audit requests, and regulatory filings.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with the U.S. accounting team to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and ensure consistency across domestic and international operations.</li> </ul>   What You Bring <ul> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or a related subject</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">5+ years of relevant accounting experience. Software company or public accounting experience a plus.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Strong understanding of foreign currency and inter-company accounting, best practices and internal controls.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience in operating various software systems, such as NetSuite, Salesforce, CaptivateIQ, Shareworks, Expensify, ADP and Adaptive.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">High proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel.</li> </ul> <ul> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer.</li> <li style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms', geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position.</li> </ul>   What We Offer Our comprehensive compensation package is vital in how we recognize our people for the impact they make on us reaching our goals as a company. For this role, the estimated base is $80,000 – $100,000 + Bonus.
