This person should have be able to use that network operations/design background to understand customer use cases, and they should be experienced in leading high performing services teams.</p> <p><strong><em>What You'll Do</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and mentor a team of network automation engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.</li> <li>Develop and implement a comprehensive network automation strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.&nbsp;</li> <li>Design, deploy, and maintain automation solutions for network configuration, monitoring, and management.</li> <li>Oversee the execution of network automation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.</li> <li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions with existing network infrastructure.</li> <li>Monitor and analyze network performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization through automation.</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to automation and network performance.</li> <li>Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes, procedures, and best practices.</li> <li>Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the automation capabilities of the network.</li> <li>Additional responsibilities as assigned.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>What You Bring</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are a plus.</li> <li>8+ years of experience in network engineering or IT operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focusing on network automation.</li> <li>Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages.
