**Database Administrator**

**Responsibilities**:

• Maintain database operations and supporting services.
• Monitoring system performance to identify problems and provide guidance for improvements.
• Perform data backup and ensures the database can be recovered in the event of a cyber incident.
• Protects the database against threats or unauthorized access.
• Perform tuning, monitoring and optimization of queries.
• Perform database storage and capacity planning

**Must have knowledge and experience**:

• Dell and/or VMware product knowledge
• Incident response experience
• Background in security space
• Be able to travel to client’s location, when needed on short notice
