Kickstart your veterinary career with NVA Canada's VT Practicum Program for final-year veterinary technician students. Gain essential experience in patient care, anesthesia, and more, while working with experts. NVA Canada offers a supportive environment where you can complete your final practicum as a veterinary technician. During this two to eight-week program, you'll work alongside experienced veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians. You'll enhance your clinical skills, including surgical assistance and laboratory procedures, and improve communication with medical teams and clients. Key Responsibilities:

Perform patient care and monitor their health
Assist in laboratory procedures and diagnostics
Administer anesthesia and support during surgeries
Participate in radiology tasks and imaging
Engage in various clinical duties as assigned Requirements:
Enrollment in an accredited VT program in Canada
Final year students eligible for the practicum
Willingness to learn in a dynamic setting
Open to inclusive and supportive training
Availability for a two to eight-week commitment Prepare for your RVT career with hands-on experience in NVA Canada's inclusive environment.
