iRF Solutions, an Amphenol company, is looking for a Sr. Associate, Quality Assurance Analyst, who is passionate about turning data into quality wins. In this role you will own support of our Quality Management Systems (QMS) to keep us compliant with regulatory, customer, and internal requirements, while monitoring processes, uncovering trends, and driving audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects. Working closely with Engineering and Operations, you will help ensure our RF interconnect products meet performance and manufacturability targets at scale. Essential Functions:
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the QMS in accordance with applicable standards (i.e. ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.).
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits (customer, regulatory, and certification audits).
- Develop, maintain, review, analyze, and report quality metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with the corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
- Support document control activities, including review, revision, and maintenance of quality procedures, work instructions, and records.
- Perform vendor management and participate in nonconformance investigations related to product, process, or supplier issues.
- Support supplier quality activities, including supplier evaluations and surveys, supplier visits, and corrective actions, as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain) to promote quality awareness and compliance.
- Assist in training employees in quality processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure quality records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with retention requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using quality tools and methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, or another technical fields.
- 2-5 years' experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Systems role (Manufacturing or technology environment preferred).
- Working knowledge of quality management systems and audit processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with quality management software is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality standards.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits.
- Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (e.g. 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA).
- Experience in RF, electronics, or defense-related manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory or customer-driven quality requirements.
Salary Range: $80,000 - 92,000 per year.
Location: Onsite in Sparks, MD with a 9/80 schedule. Every other Friday OFF.
