QC Inspector / QC Executive – Flexipack & Printing Industry
A QC Inspector in the flexible packaging and printing industry is responsible for ensuring that printed packaging materials meet customer specifications, color standards, and quality requirements during production and before dispatch. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, and coordination with production teams to minimize defects and maintain quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of printed packaging materials.
- Check print quality including:
- Color shade matching
- Registration accuracy
- Ink adhesion
- Barcode readability
- Smudging, streaks, ghosting, pinholes, and defects
- Verify printing specifications against approved artwork and customer standards.
- Conduct testing for:
- GSM
- Thickness
- Bond strength
- COF (Coefficient of Friction)
- Seal strength
- Bursting strength
- Monitor flexographic/gravure printing processes and approve machine setup.
- Maintain QC records, inspection reports, and traceability documents.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and dispatch teams for corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, HACCP, BRC, and SOP standards.
- Handle customer complaints and support root-cause analysis.
- Calibrate and maintain measuring instruments and testing equipment.

- Diploma / B.Sc / B.Tech in:
- Printing Technology
- Packaging Technology
- Mechanical Engineering
- Polymer Technology
- Chemistry
- 1–5 years of experience in flexible packaging or printing QC preferred.
