Job Description
As a Digital Product Engineering company that is scaling in a big way, Nagarro is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic and non-hierarchical work culture. In this role, you will be responsible for writing and reviewing great-quality code, understanding functional requirements thoroughly, and analyzing the clients needs. You will envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it, and implement design methodologies and toolsets. Your role will also involve coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities for application development, leading/supporting UAT and production rollouts, and creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for a given module/task.
Key Responsibilities:
- Writing and reviewing great-quality code
- Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analyzing the clients needs in the context of the project
- Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it
- Determining and implementing design methodologies and toolsets
- Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities
- Leading/supporting UAT and production rollouts
- Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for a given module/task, and justifying it
- Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
- Giving constructive feedback to team members and setting clear expectations
- Helping the team troubleshoot and resolve complex bugs
- Coming up with solutions to any issue raised during code/design review and justifying the decision taken
- Carrying out POCs to ensure suggested designs/technologies meet the requirements
Qualifications Required:
- Must-Have: Typescript
- Expertise in TypeScript, HTML CSS, React JS, Unit Testing, Webpack, Service Worker, and Web Worker
- Knowledge of high-quality professional software engineering practices for the agile software development cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment
- Fundamental knowledge of design patterns
- Passionate about building great solutions
- Mentoring team members to meet the client's needs and holding them accountable for high standards of delivery
- Knowledge of multi-site and multi-locale sites preferred
- Experience in communicating effectively with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
