Job Overview:

We are seeking line cook with at least 2 years experience to join our team. As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to our restaurant's recipes and standards. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly and work well under pressure. Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other prep as needed
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Clean up station and properly take care of any leftover food
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
• Comply food handling and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant role (2+ years experience preferred)
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, sauteeing, etc.)
• Ability to follow instructions or recipes accurately and efficiently
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Excellent knife skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
