IT Contract Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to oversee the full lifecycle management of supplier contracts, with a focus on technology and IT agreements. The role will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing complex commercial agreements while ensuring compliance, mitigating contractual risk, reviewing SLAs and maximizing value from supplier relationships.

The said person will work closely with procurement, legal, finance, and business stakeholders to support strategic sourcing initiatives, vendor governance, and contract performance management.

You will also leverage MAIT (Multistrat AI Tool) to analyse supplier agreements, extract key contractual clauses, identify risks, and surface value optimisation opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Due diligence and review of commercial contracts including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), software licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, and vendor service agreements with special focus on:
• Understanding the scope and its associated cost drivers
• SLAs/ service credits
• Key commercial clauses such as IPR, termination, exit, liabilities etc.
• Provide contract interpretation and guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle.
• Monitor key contractual milestones including renewal dates, termination rights, and performance obligations.
• Analyse stacks of related supplier agreements (e.g., MSAs, SOWs, addenda) to identify contractual conflicts, precedence structures, and commercial risks.
• Identify contractual obligations and compliance requirements within supplier agreements and ensure they are properly tracked and monitored.
• Collaborate with vendor management teams to ensure suppliers meet contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Support the monitoring of supplier performance and contractual compliance across enterprise IT supplier relationships.
• Support cross-functional teams in structuring agreements for new services, partnerships, or technology implementations.

Qualifications and experience

• Must haves:
• Experience working with the agreements of SaaS, IT services contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,Law, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or supplier management.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proficient with MS office suite
• Good to haves:
• Prior experience of using AI tools to analyse supplier contracts, extract key clauses, identify risks, and surface cost optimisation opportunities.
• Prior experience of negotiating/ assisting the main negotiator with commercial and contractual insights to optimize cost and/or contractual terms.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration,Law, or a related field
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms.
