Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This position requires a strong background in quality management and manufacturing processes, along with excellent analytical skills to assess product specifications and performance.
Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Utilize various measuring tools, including calipers, to perform precise measurements and evaluations.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a medical device manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of the functionality of electrical medical devices, image quality assessment, leak testing, and mechanical performance. A degree or experience in a technical or electrical field is an asset.
- Familiarity with QA/QC processes and methodologies.
- Understanding of ISO 13485 and relevant FDA/Health Canada/EU medical device requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Experience using measurement tools such as calipers is highly desirable.
- Knowledge about UDI-DI, FDA GUDID, and EUDAMED an asset.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and standards is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
