Video Game Concept Art Instructor [REMOTE or IN-PERSON]

Job Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled instructor to join our team. We expect you to bring in relevant experience and skills in concept art.

You will:

• Teach in an intimate environment and will get to familiarize with your students not only as a class but as unique individuals.
• Focus not only on theory but also practice and career development.
• Work alongside other industry professionals in mentoring students.
• Bring relevant knowledge to our courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach students how to use software such as Photoshop.
• Teach students how to paint and design props, characters, worlds.
• Teach students concept art industry standard painting skills and procedures.
• Give one-on-one guidance to students and make sure their work is at a passing level.
• Meet all Academic deadlines and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry experience.
• Relevant educational experience is preferred but not necessarily essential for this position.
• A portfolio and/or demo reel available for viewing.
• Diploma, Degree or any other relevant certification.

Skills

• Strong comprehension and understanding of Concept Art.
• Experience in relevant tools for Concept Art.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Fixed term contract

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
