Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Type: Full-time | Field Sales | FMCG Sector
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and appoint new distributors in the assigned territory
- Manage General Trade (GT) sales and drive revenue growth
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets on a monthly basis
- Increase product reach by ensuring availability and visibility in retail outlets
- Foster strong business relationships with distributors and key retailers
- Monitor and analyze sales trends, market competition, and customer feedback
- Implement effective sales strategies to grow the market share
- Coordinate with the internal team for order processing, stock planning, and delivery
- Ensure timely collection of payments and resolution of trade issues
- Maintain daily sales activity reports and submit monthly performance reviews to management
✅ Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in FMCG General Trade sales (ice cream/dairy preferred)
- Strong distributor and retailer network knowledge
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting tools
- Self-motivated and target-oriented with a willingness to travel extensively
