Role Overview:
You will be working with a team of talented developers to develop high performance, low latency, highly scalable Java based services. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing innovative and resilient Java based capabilities to enhance the Consumer Data Management service offerings while adhering to coding standards of excellence. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Technical leads, and other developers to define features and user stories that have a material impact on the business and improve the consumer experience. Additionally, you will be part of an Agile SCRUM team, working towards meeting due dates, addressing emerging issues, and recommending solutions. Researching alternative technical solutions to meet changing business needs will also be a part of your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize expert programming skills in Java and micro-service development.
- Demonstrate expertise with Spring Cloud, Spring Boot, and Tomcat.
- Work with both SQL and NoSQL persistence technologies, such as MongoDB and Redis.
- Showcase proficiency in software development test approaches and frameworks like ATDD/BDD, Unit tests, Cucumber, and Spock.
- Utilize expertise in cloud hosting technologies such as PCF and Azure.
- Apply command of CI/CD principles and tools including Maven, Jenkins, and Chef.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and devise novel solutions.
- Bring full stack engineering experience with React/Angular.
- Have knowledge of event streaming frameworks like Kafka.
- Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar tools.
- Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills.
