Web Developer (Freelance - Remote)

Remote Part-Time Web Development Contractor

We are looking for an intermediate-advanced web development contractor for a regular part-time contract (appx 10 - 15 hours/week).

You'll be working primarily in WordPress, primarily with Divi and Elementor builders however experience outside of these builders is a plus.

Monochrome operates in a fully remote environment based in Calgary, so strong communication skills and abilities in delivering products according to a brief are required. You must be able to organize yourself and be comfortable juggling multiple projects at once. Develop and modify Wordpress landing pages, websites, and blog posts based on provided design, copy, and assets.

Ensure all landing pages, websites, and blog posts follow modern accessibility, SEO, and responsive standards.

Solve diverse technical problems.

Intermediate - advanced knowledge of WordPress

Experience working with all modern web languages/markup, including but not limited to CSS, HTML, PHP, and javascript

Ability to solve unexpected technical problems

Intermediate knowledge of UX, SEO and web design best practices

Have the technology available to work in a completely remote environment (computer, video cam, and reliable internet)

Availability within MST standard office hours is required.

50 - $70 per hour
