About the role
This role is essentially the "Intel Engine" for the HR department. It is a dual-function position that bridges the gap between technical data science and strategic human resources, specifically within the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) and People Analytics domains.
Key Responsibilities:
C&B Analysis
- Provide compensation and benefits detailed analysis across all compensation/benefits
programs.
- Support the design, change management, and communication of compensation programs
and practices based on the guidance received from the C&B head.
- Develop proactive, data‐driven recommendations related to retention, recognition,
promotions, transfers, job matching, and job levelling.
- Support the C&B leader with compensation projects with a high degree of initiative.
- Partner cross‐functionally across HR and business teams to support compensation
initiatives.
- Benefits and Wellbeing Management: Provide support on benefits, wellbeing, and insurance
programs across the region, including cross‐market alignment, vendor coordination, and
cost‐experience trade‐off analysis. Support reviews of plan design and coverage to enable
consistent and sustainable regional approaches.
- Global Benefits SPOC: Serve as the central point of contact for global benefit programs.
This includes tracking utilization rates, managing renewals, and analyzing the ROI of
benefit offerings (e.g., insurance, wellness programs).
- Budget Reconciliation: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the spend
aligns with the overall budget.
- Coordinate the operational setup of annual merit and quarterly variable compensation
cycles within the HRIS/Comp tool to streamline performance-based pay distributions.
People Data & Analytics & Dashboard
- Develop and maintain People dashboards and reporting to support leadership
decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth analysis on people data including hiring, workforce planning, promotion,
attrition, compensation, engagement to identify trends, disparities, and opportunities for
improvement
- Identify trends and provide actionable insights to the People team and executive leadership
- Create recurring people reports & presentations to support various HR sub-functions for
business reviews
- Partner with HRBP’s and OD functions and support their initiatives such as talent reviews,
succession planning, and leadership development with necessary data insights as defined by
these functions from time to time.
- Build and manage reporting dashboards using tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI,)
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accessibility
- Maintain a single source of truth for People metrics
Data Governance & Quality
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and manage global people data (as and when required)
from various sources (HRIS, employee surveys, hiring platforms) to support delivery of
external and internal reporting
- Establish standard definitions and documentation for People metrics
- Partner with People Operations & C&B to improve data quality and reporting processes
Requirements
- Education: Graduation or MBA with a dual specialization in Finance and HR is
preferred. Knowledge of behavioral aspects of HR.
- Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in HR analytics, HR operations, or similar
data-focused roles.
- Prior experience in HR analytics and/or Compensation & Benefits analysis is
essential. Genuinely "enjoys the numbers" and finds satisfaction in a perfectly
reconciled spreadsheet.
- Technical Mastery: Fluent in Looker Studio, Tableau or Power BI
- Advanced Excel (Data modeling, Power Query, complex logical formulas).
- Have a near-obsessive focus on accuracy; and spot a mismatched decimal point or an
inconsistent data tag before it reaches the stakeholder's desk.
