We are currently looking for a Data Visualization Intern to join our team in Huntsville, AL (Remote Possible)

Assist the DDS team to gather and analyze data related to their processes, identifying key metrics and trends that can be visualized.
Create compelling data visualizations using Power BI to effectively communicate complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
Work alongside the Digital Data Services Team to develop visual components for the playbook that will guide the organization in inventorying and documenting their processes.
Assist in the creation of training materials or workshops to help departments utilize data visualization tools and interpret the visualizations accurately.
Assist with creating comprehensive documentation of data sources, visualization methodologies, and best practices to ensure continuity and knowledge sharing.
Perform other duties as required.

Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) and familiarity with programming languages such as R or Python for data manipulation.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication skills, with a focus on conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Creative mindset with an eye for design and aesthetics in data presentation.
Experience working collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
Ability to work multiple projects in parallel.

Clearance

Ability to obtain/maintain a US government security clearance.
