Seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to support our growing Government Contracts (GovCon) and Outside General Counsel (OGC) practice. Our firm provides strategic legal counsel to businesses in the technology and federal government contracting sectors, advising clients on contracts, compliance, and corporate matters.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, government contracts, and subcontracts.
• Advise clients on federal procurement regulations, FAR/DFARS compliance, and contract performance.
• Analyze legal and regulatory issues related to government contracting and federal procurement.
• Support Outside General Counsel (OGC) client teams and interact directly with clients.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, client guidance, and risk assessments.
• Assist with bid protests, claims, disputes, and regulatory compliance matters.
• Collaborate with partners and attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing (Virginia preferred).
• 3–5 years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Experience with government contracts, federal procurement, or GovCon clients preferred.
• Strong skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and legal analysis.

Pay: $73,139.79 - $115,000.00 per year
