An innovative genomics services organization is seeking a commercially driven and scientifically credible Senior Technical Sales Manager to accelerate growth across its advanced Single Cell Genomics portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market presence across academic, biotech, pharmaceutical, and clinical research sectors.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities within the genomics and molecular biology market.
• Build long-term relationships with principal investigators, research directors, laboratory managers, and key decision-makers.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for single-cell genomics solutions.
• Consult customers on study design, sample preparation strategies, workflow optimization, and project feasibility.
• Translate complex scientific concepts into commercially relevant solutions.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing.
• Prepare technical presentations, proposals, quotations, and commercial recommendations.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets.
• Act as the primary customer contact throughout project execution.
• Coordinate internally with laboratory, bioinformatics, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive customer satisfaction and long-term account growth.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, competitor activity, and customer requirements.
• Provide market insights that support strategic planning and portfolio development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in: Life Sciences or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of experience in: Scientific Business Development or related disciplines
• Strong knowledge of: Single Cell RNA Sequencing (scRNA-seq) / Single Cell ATAC-seq or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing network within the genomics, biotech, or research community.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Ability to operate independently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with AI tools for commercial productivity, marketing, or sales automation.
