The Opportunity:
Our client, a growing and evolving multi-site healthcare business, is seeking a Vice President, Regional Operations Leader to join their team.
This is a critical and highly hands-on hire, brought in to support a segment of the business that requires stronger day-to-day operational execution and oversight.
The organization is undergoing a structural shift, with a separation between strategy/program development and on-the-ground operational execution. This role will sit firmly on the execution side, acting as a true operator within the business.
This role is suited to someone who thrives in ambiguity, can move quickly from one issue to the next, and is comfortable stepping directly into clinics to identify problems, implement solutions, and drive performance.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as a hands-on operator across a portfolio of clinics, stepping into sites where there are performance gaps or operational challenges
- Diagnose issues across clinic operations including scheduling, patient flow, and P&L performance, and implement immediate, practical solutions
- Partner closely with Regional Leaders and clinic teams to drive accountability and execution on key initiatives
- Support day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring there are no missed opportunities across scheduling, capacity, and revenue optimization
- Operate as a “right hand” to senior leadership, executing on priorities and initiatives in real time
- Move fluidly across the business, focusing efforts where they are most needed week-to-week
- Reinforce operational discipline and consistency across clinics, particularly in more mature or underperforming locations
- Provide on-the-ground support rather than building programs — ensuring strategies developed by leadership are effectively executed
What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
- Strong operational leadership experience within a multi-site healthcare or clinical environment (dental experience is highly preferred)
- Deep understanding of clinic-level operations, including scheduling, workflow, and financial performance drivers
- Highly hands-on, execution-focused mindset, someone who prefers being in the field versus behind a desk
- Ability to quickly assess situations, identify root causes, and implement solutions without overcomplicating
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, sometimes unstructured environment with shifting priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work alongside Regional Leaders and clinic teams
- Agile and adaptable, able to pivot focus based on where the business needs support most
Compensation Range: Base Salary of $180,000 - $200,000
