Position Overview
The HR Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the HR department. This role supports recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HR compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR files and documentation
- Assemble new hire packets and assist with New Hire Orientation
- Support background checks and Morpho fingerprinting
- Assist with employee terminations and verifications of employment (VOEs)
- Support recruiting efforts
- Perform periodic audits of HR records
- Assist with open enrollment, employee events, and facility meetings
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 6 months - 1 year of Human Resources experience (flexible)
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Paycom (or ability to learn quickly)
Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm
$18 - $20/hr
