As a Java Web Designer/Architect at Maganti IT Resources LLC, you will play a lead role in designing, testing, and maintaining internal and external web-based applications. Your primary responsibilities will include developing customer self-service applications and web-based interfaces for subscriber management systems. You will need to demonstrate enthusiasm and a sense of ownership for the system and its components crucial to the business's success. Additionally, you will be responsible for modeling system behaviors using best practice methods, interpreting business requirements accurately, ensuring designs are consistent with existing architecture, and delivering assignments in a timely and accurate manner. Qualifications Required:
- 5-7 years of Java, J2EE, JSP development experience
- 5+ years of Java/J2EE design experience
- 5+ years of MVC Framework experience: Struts2, Spring MVC, or similar
- Strong Web 2.0 experience essential, including use of OO JavaScript, AJAX, DHTML, and JS libraries (e.g., AngularJS/jQuery, etc.)
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, with a strong understanding of browser compatibility issues (Bootstrap, SASS, etc.)
- Experience with XML, XSL, processing/parsing
- Familiarity with Automated Testing Tools like Selenium
- Strong structured methodology experience
- Experience with J2EE/OO Design patterns and SOA based Web Service design
- Ability to use Unified Modeling Language (UML) for technical design
- Knowledge of web security standards and their application
- Experience with rules engine like DROOLs and basic UNIX operations
- Proficiency in source code control systems like GIT
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
- Experience with configuring and managing local Tomcat/JBOSS and build processes using Ant/Maven
