Entry Level Accountant

We’re working with a small, tight-knit family office in Rockland County that’s looking to bring on an accounting professional to cover a maternity leave. It’s a really collaborative environment, so they’re looking for someone who’s detail-oriented, polished, and comfortable jumping in to handle day-to-day accounting with minimal hand-holding.

Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day accounting work, including AP, AR, and general ledger activity

Support the month-end close and help with financial reporting

Process invoices, reconciliations, and track expenses

Keep financial records organized and up to date

Work closely with the team on ongoing accounting and operational needs

Requirements

2+/- years of corporate accounting experience is ideal

Open to candidates with strong internship experience in audit, accounting, or AP

Accounting degree is a plus, but not required

Comfortable in a small, team-focused environment

Looking for someone organized, proactive, and takes ownership of their work
