Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and creative 2D Game Animator with strong expertise in Spine animation to join our game development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality animations for characters, symbols, UI elements, and visual effects used in Slot, Casino, and Crash games.
You will collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and developers to deliver engaging and performance-optimized game animations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D animations using Spine
- Animate characters, game symbols, UI elements, and FX animations
- Perform rigging and animation setup for game assets
- Develop animations following established storyboards
- Integrate animations within the game animation pipeline
- Work closely with developers to ensure smooth in-game implementation
- Optimize animations for performance and device compatibility
- Maintain animation quality, timing, and visual consistency across projects
Must Have Skills
- Strong experience with Spine 2D Animation
- Hands-on experience in Adobe After Effects
- Experience with Adobe Animate
- Strong understanding of 12 Principles of Animation
- Experience in Storyboard creation
- Character Rigging & Animation workflow
- Knowledge of Game Animation Pipeline
- Understanding of animation optimization for games
Good to Have Skills
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Toon Boom Harmony
- Experience in Slot / Casino / Mobile Game projects
- UI Animation and VFX animation experience
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience as a 2D Game Animator
- Strong animation fundamentals (timing, weight, motion, anticipation)
- Experience working in a game development environment
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
