Who We Are

Mill Story is a food manufacturing company focused on freshly milled staples.

We run a small-batch production setup using slow stone milling, supported by structured quality systems and lab testing.

The plant operates with tight control over process, hygiene, and consistency — because product quality depends directly on how the plant is run.

This setup requires tighter control and more involvement than conventional high-speed milling operations.

Role Objective

You will be responsible for running the plant end-to-end.

From output and quality to people and process, you will ensure everything operates with consistency and control.

Every batch that leaves the plant should reflect the standards you uphold.

Key Responsibilities

• Own daily plant operations: milling, blending, packing, dispatch
• Ensure adherence to food safety systems (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000)
• Maintain batch-level consistency in quality and output
• Build and execute production plans aligned with demand
• Lead and manage shop-floor teams (operators, packers, helpers)
• Reduce downtime, wastage, and process variability
• Ensure equipment uptime and preventive maintenance
• Maintain hygiene, pest control, and audit readiness
• Track core metrics: yield, losses, throughput, rejections
• Coordinate with sourcing, QC, and dispatch
• Ensure consistency in a low-speed, small-batch production environment where process control is critical

Eligibility

• 8-10 years of experience in food manufacturing / FMCG / processing
• Experience as Plant Manager / Production Manager / Factory Head
• Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, hygiene systems
• Hands-on experience in plant operations and production planning
• Experience with packaging lines and equipment
• Grain, flour, or food processing experience preferred
