Role Overview:
Lead finance at a top international school with a high-performing team. You will report to the COO and Head of School, with a dotted line to the Board. Your responsibilities will include leading accounting, reporting, and budgeting as per international and local standards. Ensuring compliance with tax, audit, and FCRA regulations, preparing financial reports, variance analysis, and MIS for leadership and the board, and partnering with teams on budgeting, cost control, and forecasting. You will also manage audits, supervise AR/AP, payroll, and compliance teams, improve internal controls, systems, and finance processes, and oversee banking, treasury, and cash flow planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead accounting, reporting, and budgeting as per international and local standards
- Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and FCRA regulations
- Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, and MIS for leadership and the board
- Partner with teams on budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
- Manage audits and liaise with auditors for timely closures
- Supervise AR/AP, payroll, and compliance teams
- Improve internal controls, systems, and finance processes
- Oversee banking, treasury, and cash flow planning
Qualifications Required:
- CA qualification with 8-12 years PQE
- Strong knowledge of Indian compliance and international accounting standards
- Hands-on experience with audits, FCRA, and board reporting
- Proven leadership, team, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in ERP systems and Excel; system migration/automation skills are a plus
