This position is located in Community Corrections/Division of State Trial Courts and is a Non-Civil Service position.This position provides supervision to non-violent felony offenders, reporting directly to the program supervisor and works closely in conjunction with Judges, Courts, District Attorney, Defense Attorney, Law Enforcement, and any other agency to provide adequate services.Cover assigned courts as neededMaintaining case files and records for assigned offendersReporting all violations of court order requirements in a timely and consistent manner to the Judicial SystemEnforce residential facility rules and maintain order in the facilityAccount For Residents’ WhereaboutsConduct facility safety checksConduct resident searches and drug testing as directedEvaluating offender progress and identifying problemsOther assigned duty as directedBachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or behavioral science field from an accredited college or university and at least one year of criminal justice, law enforcement, or counseling case management experience preferred.A valid Tennessee Driver's License is required. Knowledge of Tennessee criminal justice systems Experience in supervision of corrections caseload Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely both orally and written Competency in establishing good working relationships with the judicial system and the community Valid Tennessee Driver's LicenseRequests for ADA accommodation for the recruitment process should be directed to Human Resources at 615-862-6640.
