Metrocan Distribution Corp is a growing construction materials supplier. We are hiring an Operations & Logistics Manager to take full responsibility for our warehouse, deliveries, and crew.

This is a hands-on role. You will manage staff and work in the warehouse when needed. Forklift operation and physical warehouse work are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse staff and delivery drivers
• Assign daily tasks and oversee execution
• Plan and schedule deliveries (routes, trucks, drivers)
• Coordinate crane and jobsite deliveries
• Operate forklift and assist with loading/unloading as required
• Ensure accurate picking, loading, and securing of materials
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse/yard
• Reduce errors, damage, and re-deliveries
• Hold staff accountable for performance and attendance
• Communicate daily issues and solutions to management

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management
• Construction materials, lumber, steel, drywall, or similar industry experience required
• Forklift experience required (certification an asset)
• Comfortable with physical warehouse work when needed
• Proven experience managing crews and drivers
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Experience

• operations, logistics, or warehouse management: 2 years (required)
• Forklift: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 5 Licence (required)
