Role Value Proposition

Data Scientist plays a critical role in data and analytics life cycle and significantly contributes to production grade data and analytics solutions. The role requires one to demonstrate analytical skills, machine learning. It is an individual contributor role. This role mentors data scientists . It is an individual contributor role, expected to solve wide ranging business problems

Experience

8-10+ years of relevant experience

Education

Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology or equivalent educational qualification

Responsibilities

• Design, build, validate and deploy production grade rule-based & machine learning models using structured and unstructured data
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering
• Monitor, evalulate and improve model performance.
• Ensure model development follows quality, secutiry , compliance, explaiability and responsible use of AI guidelines,
• Collaborate with multiple partners from Business,Technology, Operations and D&A capabilities (Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Modeling, Data Architecture, Data science, DevOps, BI & insights)
• Mentor Data Scientists
• Independently lead design, solutioning & estimations

Technical Skills

• Python
• Statistics, hypothesis testing, Feature engineering, Modeling
• Machine learning frameworks: SCikit-learn, Tensorflow, Pytorch,
• Natural language processing (NLP): spacy, Transformers, OCR
• Generative AI: Large language Models, prompt engineering
• Communication skills, analytical skills, structured problem-solving skills.,
• Mentorship experience
• Storytelling skills ,Partner & Stakeholder engagement experience

Good To have

• Azure ML or cloud AI/ML Services
• ML Ops
• Banking Financial Services and Insurance domain knowledge
