Position: Technical Project Manager

Type: Contract

Compensation: $65–$85/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver programs within constraints of scope, quality, time, and budget. Manage multiple moderate-probability, moderate-impact risk factors.
• Conduct program-level strategic planning. Interact with executive-level management. Resolve complex issues with excellent communication and team-building skills.
• Manage groups of internal exempt and matrixed employees and contractors. Deliver systems and system enhancements meeting specified requirements.
• Oversee project scope definition, requirements gathering, time estimating, schedule development, budget management, status reporting, issue and risk management, contingency planning, customer interaction, and communications across multiple organizational levels.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.
• PMP or PMI certification.
• Experience working on camera module development.
• Consumer electronics experience.
• Semiconductor experience.
• Proven skills in project estimating, scheduling and tracking, customer interaction and management, and implementation planning in large organizations.
• Demonstrated people management and team-building skills.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and managing competing priorities.
• Proven ability to quickly learn business processes and work well with business partners at different organizational levels.
• Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.
• Experience using program management software.

Preferred

• MBA or other related advanced degree.
