Aufgaben

Infrastructure & Vault EngineerPosition Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Infrastructure & Vault Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, HashiCorp Vault, and modern DevOps practices. You will work alongside senior engineers, contributing to infrastructure projects while developing your technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and updating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations using Terraform Enterprise under senior guidance
• Support Vault integration projects by implementing configurations and assisting with tool integrations
• Provide operational support through the Service Desk, handling L1-L2 level tickets and escalating complex issues appropriately
• Write and maintain automation scripts to support infrastructure operations
• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
• Participate in team learning activities and continuously develop technical skills

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

• Infrastructure as Code & Terraform Enterprise (IaC, TFE): Basic understanding of IaC concepts and willingness to learn Terraform (hands-on experience or completed relevant coursework preferred)
• Git & GitLab CI: Fundamental knowledge of version control and basic CI/CD concepts

Should-Have Skills:

• Scripting & Automation: Basic scripting skills in Bash and/or Python with eagerness to develop automation capabilities
• Effective Communication & User Interaction: Good communication skills and customer service orientation with ability to learn from feedback

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Alice & Vault Product Knowledge: Any exposure to Alice or HashiCorp Vault is a plus (comprehensive training will be provided)

Experience Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or related IT roles
• Recent graduates with relevant degrees (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) or bootcamp certification are encouraged to apply
• Academic projects, internships, or personal projects demonstrating infrastructure or automation skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn
