Role Overview
We are looking for a freelance PR executive who can shape and amplify Meld Studio’s narrative across relevant media platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of fashion, craft, and sustainability, along with the ability to build meaningful media relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Storytelling & Positioning
- Translate the brand philosophy into compelling media narratives
- Develop press angles around sustainability, craft, and textile stories
2. Media Outreach & Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with fashion editors, journalists, and stylists
- Pitch stories, features, and interviews to relevant publications (India + international)
3. Press Materials
- Create and manage press releases, brand decks, and media kits
- Ensure all communication aligns with brand tone and visual identity
4. Launch & Campaign PR
- Plan and execute PR strategies for collection launches and campaigns
- Coordinate with internal teams for timely communication
5. Influencer & Stylist Seeding
- Identify and engage with aligned creators and stylists
- Manage product placements for organic visibility
6. Editorial & Celebrity Placement
- Coordinate with stylists for magazine features and public appearances
- Track and amplify placements
7. Coverage Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain a record of all press and influencer coverage
- Share monthly reports with insights and recommendations
8. International PR Outreach
- Pitch to global platforms aligned with slow fashion and craft
