What You’ll Do
- Design and implement scalable, reliable backend services and APIs using Node.js, Go, or Python
- Architect data workflows and orchestrate complex backend logic using microservices
- Collaborate with frontend, ML, and product teams to bring new features to life
- Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and reliability
- Containerize and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes
- Own uptime and performance of backend systems in real-world environments
- Write well-documented, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve system stability across environments
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience in backend development
- Proficiency in at least one core language: Node.js, Go, or Python
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other SQL/NoSQL databases
- Comfort working in CI/CD environments and automating deployments
- Solid grasp of backend system design, security, and performance
- Strong debugging skills and a clean, maintainable coding style
Bonus Points For
- Experience with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, AWS CDK, Pulumi)
- Exposure to high-scale systems and distributed architecture
- Knowledge of security practices for APIs and backend systems
